SANY Heavy Equipment at Steinexpo 2026

The exhibition took place from September 2 to 5 at the active basalt quarry in Nieder-Ofleiden. One of the key areas of SANY’s exhibition was digital solutions and automation for heavy equipment operations.
SANY presented the RootPilot system, which uses high-precision GNSS positioning, sensors, and digital terrain models to determine the position of machinery in real time. The technology is designed to improve accuracy and optimize operational processes.
Automation and autonomous technologies are among the key development areas of SANY Heavy Equipment, which is developing autonomous mining dump trucks and integrated digital equipment management systems.
